ECP Result 2024

Almost 18,000 contenders are vying for positions in the country’s national and four provincial assemblies. There are 44 political parties in contention for spots in the National Assembly, the lower chamber of parliament, which has 266 contested seats, while an additional 70 seats are set aside for women and minority representation.

The nation’s 90,000 polling stations operate from 8:00 am (0300 GMT) to 5:00 pm, with over 650,000 army, paramilitary, and police personnel deployed for security.

However, elections have been delayed in one national and three provincial assembly constituencies due to the demise of competing candidates. These include NA-8 (Bajaur), PK-22 (Bajaur), PK-91 (Kohat), and PP-266 (Rahim Yar Khan). In other areas, voters will cast two ballots each—one for each of the two assemblies.
