Section 93 (d) of the Elections Act of 2017 allows people who are take into custody or in prison to vote by postal ballot. Furthermore, Section 26 of the Act ensures that every person who meets specified conditions is eligible to be registered as a voter, and Article 51 of the Constitution constitutionally grants him the right to vote.
